We are back from our 3 weeks adventure in EastAfrica. After meeting Daniel and his team at an expo in n Utrecht, we were convinced that they were the right company to arrange this long waited holiday. We could not be more right. We exchanged 10s of emails and they were very helpful in twisting the itinerary and answering our several questions. We decided to go overland as flying between destinations didn’t seem as adventurous. Mandela Safari Holidays is a very professional company that does everything to help their clients. Such was seen when they contacted the airline about our lost luggage and made sure hey deliver it to our next destination. Gorilla trekking with family in Uganda
We were a family 6, 4 adults and 2 teenagers on a safari to Uganda. Our aim was to do see primates and we were glad to have chosen Mandela Safari Holidays. They made communication and the whole booking process so easy. We chose the flying package keeping in mind that we had 2 seniors in our group. They went a head to choose for us the easiest treks for both gorilla and chimpanzee trekking. We met the gorillas in 43 minutes and chimpanzees in 1 hour of trekking. 12 Days Kenya Photography Safari with Mandela Safari Holidays
We were a group of 16 wildlife photographers traveling the globe to take the best shots of the beautiful wildlife. This time we wanted to experience the migration of the wildebeest and we found Daniel through a friend who had traveled with his company a couple of years back. He arranged our 12 days trip with excursions, accommodation, cars guides and more. Exclusive accommodation, top notch guides, good cars, quick replies are some of the services we received from Mandela Safari Holidays. Unlike some companies, they are into sustainable tourism, they were very respectful to animals at the river crossing. Lots of guides tended to just block animals at the crossing which some times made animals not to cross the river because they were afraid. Such behaviour was not seen in Mandela Safar Holidays' guides. Atleast those that were at the crossings during our visit. With Mandela Safari Holidays, nothing went wrong. An Experience of a lifetime
My boyfriend and I wanted to have a trip in any African country, and I booked 9days taste of Tanzania with Mandela safari Holidays.To be honest,the experience was beyond our expectations. Awouderful 10days safari in Uganda, Uganda is an amazing county with a lot of wildlife and birds which are not easily found any where in Africa . A memorable 15days safari with Mandela Safari Holidays

Amazing 12 days in Uganda
We spent 12 days in Uganda on a Safari and Primate Tour organized by Mandela Safari. It was everything we hoped for and more from start to finish. Daniel understood what we wanted to experience out of this trip and he guided us in the right direction. He custom organized the entire trip and it didn’t fail to exceed our expectations. Very amazing and knowledgeable.
It was mine second safari experience but i was using Mandela safaris holidays for the first time. Mandela safari holidays planned a 7 days tour of uganda. Daniel was our guide, he had a deep knowledge of things and also know about every small activity of animals we never felt that we are unsafe. he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Incredible safari experience
We had a wonderful time on the 9 day safari. Everything was perfect and we were even able to make last minute changes/adaptions to our itinerary with no hassle. I think the most exciting part are the random discoveries, exotic animals just on the roadside hiding in the trees. An unforgettable trip to Uganda with Daniel from Mandela Safari Holidays.
Our trip to Uganda was truly unforgettable, our guide Daniel allowed us to connect to the soul of this amazing country. After scurrying through info and reviews, I realized we couldn't do this trip on our own. I don't usually work with agencies or travel operators so I was very hesitant. Boy, did Daniel prove to be a treasure! We went on a 7-day (very reasonably priced) trip with him, after lengthy correspondence for several weeks. He had our back even before the trip began. He made suggestions, yet was not pushy and was totally accommodating to particular requests and preferences, and was extremely competent, knowledgable and resourceful when dealing with unexpected hiccups. Once in Uganda, he was open to twitching the itinerary as he got a better sense of our particular interests regarding photography and a taste of a genuine, non-touristy experience. And that we did...I was literally in tears during several parts of the trip - the 2 Bwindi gorilla treks, the chimpanzee treks, spending time in an actual village with children and women... We were not expecting much in terms of wildlife citing, as we'd picked Uganda primarily for the gorillas and chimps. However, some of the most memorable experiences (and photos) with elephants, hippos and lions, came from our trip with him. As many people note, a guide can make or break a trip. I just wish I could clone Daniel :) as the ideal guide on every trip. We are so grateful.
